System responsibilities
GenericUISystem builds on Unreal Engine CommonUI. It provides layout composition, activatable UI, asynchronous UI actions, mobile input widgets, and extension points for Gameplay Features. It supplies UI infrastructure; your project still owns visual style, page content, and input policy.
UI assets in the companion project
The current GenericGame project's UICore contains GUI_GameUIPolicy, WB_GUI_GameUILayout, BP_GUI_HUD, WB_GUI_HUD_Generic, and a generic pause menu; UIExtras also contains Theme_Default. The optional settings UI module has corresponding menu and panel Widgets. These project examples let you inspect how layouts, policies, HUDs, menus, and themes fit together, while the plugin itself remains without UI Content. See the Companion Project Content and Example Assets guide for full paths.
